2026 Calendar of Events:

April 25: Club Opening Work Party (no work party credit)

Plan to come at 10:00 a.m. to do odd jobs in and around the clubhouse. Bring rakes, leaf blowers, shovels and bush saws. A small chain saw might come in handy. Bring some cleaning supplies for inside, although our cleaning lady will probably have gotten things started. We’ll stop around 1:00 p.m. for lunch. We’ll spend an hour of so afterwards if necessary. Lunch will be provided by the club . . . maybe subs or pizza and soda.

Docks-In: Kelly Marine: Late April or early May: depends on weather and level of lake. (The docks are in. It's officially boating season!)

May 23: Season Kickoff Party: Covered Dish Brunch: 11:00 Luncheon begins. Please bring a covered dish.

Coffee, Juice, Lemonade, and Iced Tea will be provided by the club. Want something stronger? BYOB

June 20: Wine and Cheese Party: Hosted by Margie Young & Ann Rattine Bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share General Meeting at 4:30: Party immediately after.

July 4: Independence Day Party: Host/Hostess needed.

Club picnic and cookout. LOLYC will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, brats and buns along with potato salad, baked beans, soft drinks, lemonade and iced tea. Want something stronger to drink? BYOB. Feel free to bring a covered dish to share. There will be no charge for club members but RSVP will be needed. Party begins at 6:00 to be followed by motoring out onto the lake for the fireworks.

August 15: Mexican Party: Hosted by John & Cindy Coleman

Menu to be determined. An RSVP will be required and a minimal charge will be assessed. More info will be coming. Look for a flyer. 5:00 General Membership Meeting: Nominating Committee will be announced. 5:30 Party Begins

September 19: Salad & Dessert Potluck: Host/Hostess needed.

4:30 General Meeting: Nominating Committee will announce their slate of candidates for the 2026 Season. Nominations will be accepted from the floor. If none are received, a vote will be held to accept the slate of candidates as officers/trustees for next season.

October 10: German Party: Hosted by Jan Niesz and Peggy Keaton

General Meeting 30 minutes before party to vote on slate of officers (if not determined in September).

October 17: Club Closing Work Party (no work party credit
